Biography: Ron Christie was appointed in 2002 to serve as special assistant to President George W. Bush for USA Freedom Corps and was acting director of that executive office when he left in March 2004. Prior to serving as special assistant to the president, Christie also served as deputy assistant to Vice President Cheney for domestic policy, where he advised the vice president on policy initiatives in health care, budget, tax, and other policy areas from January 2001 to March 2002. Christie did major and small media while in the White House and continues to do so now, having recently appeared on Lou Dobbs, The O'Reilly Factor, and CSPAN 2's Washington Journal.
